BREWERY DESCRIPTION:
This year’s batch of Blackout Jinx is a response from last year’s batch with an eye toward barrel-aging. A little sweeter of a base beer so that the beer can age longer in the barrel for a “fuller” experience as a whole (Currently aging in Willett and Elijah Craig barrels). But because the finished gravity was higher, I added less maple syrup to balance out the sweetness, so this year’s the maple plays more of a background role. I doubled the honey in the whirlpool because I liked @eastrockapiary honey so much. All in all, I’m much happier with this year’s Blackout Jinx and think it plays into more of an American Stout range rather than toeing the line of sweet stout, like last year’s. I hope you enjoy it more as well!
Alcohol Information
You must be 21 to purchase any product that contains alcohol, including beer, wine, and some chocolates. Delivery must accepted by an adult age 21+. All beer or wine shipments are sent via Federal Express with an adult signature sticker required on the box. Packages will not be left without signature at any residence or business. Marina Market personnel may contact you by telephone to confirm your order and age. There is an additional fee of $6.00 per shipment to cover the Adult Signature Service included in your shipping quote. This fee is imposed by FedEx.
Adult Shipping for any items containing alcohol including beer, wine, cider, and liquor-filled chocolates, requires an Adult Signature on delivery. The delivery driver cannot deliver to a person that is intoxicated, and no signature release, driver release, or indirect delivery allowed. You can opt to have your order shipped to a business, work, or even to a FedEx Station to be held for pickup. Please keep in mind that if an order is returned to us as undelivered because of non-signature, we will have to get payment to re-ship. Please see our current list of states we ship to. Our web cart will also notify you during checkout if you try to order beer or wine for delivery to a state that does not allow it by only showing "In Store pickup".
