WINERY DESCRIPTION:
Nadia Curto is a woman amongst men; a formidable winemaker who learned her craft from her father Marco, a grower, and her uncle Elio Altare, a legendary winemaker. She is her own enologist, and works every aspect of the winemaking. Her wines cut the razor’s edge between classic and modern in Barolo -- powerful, even a touch austere, but with undeniable finesse. The wine is elegant and approachable; and the fruits are lush, ripe and enormously concentrated, with beautifully balanced acids, tannins and fruits of dark cherry, truffles, earth and even roses and tar.

VINIFICATION: Maceration for 10 days in thermoconditioned stainless steel tanks, without using external yeasts. Storage in wooden cask for 3 years. Bottling in the summer of the 4th year without filtering or clarification.
BARREL: 8 year-old, 2,500 lt oak casks.
MATURATION: 30 months in the barrel. 12 months in the bottle.
FOOD PAIRINGS: Tagliatelle with wild boar, pork chops, and Prime Rib.

There is an additional fee of $6.00 per shipment to cover the Adult Signature Service included in your shipping quote. This fee is imposed by FedEx.
Adult Shipping for any items containing alcohol including beer, wine, cider, and liquor-filled chocolates, requires an Adult Signature on delivery. The delivery driver cannot deliver to a person that is intoxicated, and no signature release, driver release, or indirect delivery allowed. You can opt to have your order shipped to a business, work, or even to a FedEx Station to be held for pickup. Please keep in mind that if an order is returned to us as undelivered because of non-signature, we will have to get payment to re-ship. Please see our current list of states we ship to. Our web cart will also notify you during checkout if you try to order beer or wine for delivery to a state that does not allow it by only showing "In Store pickup".
