Aroma and Flavor: A delectable aroma of sweet citrus and classic apple. Flavors range from tangerine to floral tartness with a gently tannic finish and slight bittersweet sparkle that leaves your palate clean and refreshed.
Apple Varieties: Made with a blend of traditional ‘russeted' apples such as Golden Russet (70% of total volume), Claygate Pearmaine, Ashmeade’s Kernel, St. Edmund's Pippin, Roxbury Russet, Belle de Boskoop and Karmijn de Sonnaville, sourced primarily from Finnriver's organic orchard, supplemented with fruit from Iron Root Orchard in Okanagan, WA.
Cidermaker Notes: Russeting on apples is a particular type of skin, slightly rough, usually with a greenish-brown to yellowish-brown color. These apples cannot be judged by their homely exterior! The 2017 Golden Russet was fermented with a white wine yeast known for expressing fruity and aromatic acids in the final cider. The blend of fruit, with a gentle bittersweet tannin profile, offers a thoughtful combination and layered complexity in the mouth.
Serving Suggestions: Delightful as an aperitif, the perfect bottle of bubbly for a toast and a fine compliment to scallops, clams, crab and other Pacific Northwest fare. Also a lovely cider to balance spicy foods like jambalaya or Thai noodles.
Alcohol Information
You must be 21 to purchase any product that contains alcohol, including beer, wine, and some chocolates. Delivery must accepted by an adult age 21+. All beer or wine shipments are sent via Federal Express with an adult signature sticker required on the box. Packages will not be left without signature at any residence or business. Marina Market personnel may contact you by telephone to confirm your order and age. There is an additional fee of $6.00 per shipment to cover the Adult Signature Service included in your shipping quote. This fee is imposed by FedEx.
Adult Shipping for any items containing alcohol including beer, wine, cider, and liquor-filled chocolates, requires an Adult Signature on delivery. The delivery driver cannot deliver to a person that is intoxicated, and no signature release, driver release, or indirect delivery allowed. You can opt to have your order shipped to a business, work, or even to a FedEx Station to be held for pickup. Please keep in mind that if an order is returned to us as undelivered because of non-signature, we will have to get payment to re-ship. Please see our current list of states we ship to. Our web cart will also notify you during checkout if you try to order beer or wine for delivery to a state that does not allow it by only showing "In Store pickup".
