COLE'S SING A SONG OF SIXPENCE CHRISTMAS PUDDING

A classic Christmas pudding that includes a lucky sixpence! Traditionally a silver sixpence was stirred into the pudding mix to bring to bring the finder wealth and good luck in the year to come.

Traditionally, Christmas Puddings are prepared in British households on or around Advent. As the pudding is prepared, everyone in the household, including children, make a wish as they stir the mixture. When the home-made pudding is ready, it is usually doused in rum or brandy and presented to the cheering family aflame.

We recommend serving your Christmas Pudding with clotted, devon cream or brandy butter!
