CLAYPOT CHICKEN RENDANG MIX
Claypot Brand Malaysia Chicken Rendang Mix is an authentic blend of a traditional Malay recipe made complete and easy-to-cook. No need to pound onions, garlic or chilies. No need to squeeze coconut milk. Just add the right proportion of water and cook with chicken. Pre-seasoned with salt and sugar for your absolute convenience!
INGREDIENTS:
Part A: Herbs & Spices (42%), Coriander, Chilli (11%), Onion, Cumin, Fennel, Ginger, Garlic, Turmeric, Tamarind, Caramel, Star Anise, Black Pepper, Cloves. Part B: Instant Coconut Milk (42%), Coconut Cream Powder [Coconut Milk, Maltodextrin (Tapioca Origin), Emulsifier: Sodium Caseinate (Milk)], Salt, Sugar Part C: Toasted Coconut (16%): Toasted Coconut.
DIRECTIONS:
Mix Part A with 100ml water into a paste. Mix Part B with 150ml, stir well. Heat cooking oil in a pan over low flame. Add curry paste and fry for 2-3 minutes or until fragrant. Add Chicken, adjust flame to medium and stir-fry. Cover and simmer for 60 minutes, stir occassionally. When cooked, add coconut milk (a little at a time), and Part C, stir well, bring to boil and serve.
Store in a cool dry place.
