What is Kerupuk? Krupuk or kerupuk (Indonesian), keropok (Malaysian) or kroepoek (Dutch) are deep fried crackers made from starch and other ingredients that serve as flavoring. They are a popular snack in parts of Southeast Asia, but most closely associated with Indonesia and Malaysia.
INGREDIENTS:
Tapioca Flour, garlic, salt, sugar, red#40, blue #1, yellow #5.
DIRECTIONS:
Heat oil in frying pan/pot, wait a few minutes until oil is hot. Put crackers a few pieces at a time into the hot oil. Turn crackers until fully expanded. Take out and drain on paper to absorb on excess oil.
