Sugar, Soybean Oil, Distilled Vinegar, Dried Chilies (8%), Salt, Onion, Black Peppercorn, Soy Sauce (Soybean, Wheat Flour, Salt, Sugar, Hydrolyzed Protein from Soy), Garlic, Color (Caramel (150c)), Acid Regulator (Citric Acid), Color (Paprika Oleoresin).
DIRECTIONS:
Szechuan Kung Pao Stir Fry (Serves 4):
Ingredients
1 packet Szechuan Kung Pao Stir Fry Spice Paste
(3/4-1 lb) chicken breast meat or fillet, cut into bite-sized pieces
1 tsp cornstarch or corn flour
1-2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 packet (60g/2 oz) roasted cashew nuts, almonds or peanuts
1 tbsp sherry port or Chinese wine (optional)
- Heat oil in non-stick pan or wok on medium-high heat. Coat chicken with cornstarch or corn flour.
- Add chicken and stir-fry for 1 minute. Add spice paste and fry for another 2 minutes.
- Add wine and stir-fry until meat is cooked. Mix in nuts. Serve hot with rice or noodles.
Cooking Tips: Turkey or seafood may be used instead of chicken. If a vegetarian meal is preferred, use 450g (1 lb) vegetables of your choice to replace meat.
Store in a cool dry place.
