LOTUS ORIGINAL SPECULOOS SPREAD
In Belgium we have been eating Lotus Biscoff - The Original Speculoos with the sandwich for a long time. The biscuits were used as toppings, sometimes crumbled and sometimes dipped in coffee first. Nice, but not really practical. Until an enterprising mom got a good idea. Why not make a spread out of it? She came up with her own recipe and submitted it to a TV competition, De Denkers. Sure enough, she was chosen as one of the finalists! Afterwards, she worked closely with the Lotus team to finalize the recipe. This became the recipe for the wildly popular, unique Lotus Biscoff - The Original Speculoos pasta we know today!
INGREDIENTS:
Original Speculoos 58% (wheat flour, sugar, vegetable oils (palm*, turnip), candy syrup, raising agent (sodium hydrogen carbonate), soy flour, salt, cinnamon), rapeseed oil, sugar, emulsifier (lecithins (soy )), food acid (citric acid) . *Palm oil from sustainable and certified plantations.
DIRECTIONS:
Store in a cool dry place.
